Army arrests suspected thieves

BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army said Monday it arrested two people suspected of stealing from inside some 100 vehicles in Khaldeh, south of Beirut, and the Metn area of Dbayeh.

In a statement, the military said an Army unit apprehended Ihab Idris and Ali Mursal in Dbayeh near the seaside Marina walkway on May 5.

An investigation is underway with the two suspected thieves.
