Salam to visit Saudi Arabia next week

BEIRUT: Prime Minister Tammam Salam is set to go on an official visit to Saudi Arabia early next week, a source close to the premier said.

During his visit, Salam will meet with King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and senior Saudi officials, the sources said.

The prime minister will be accompanied by a ministerial delegation, the source said.

This will be Salam’s first visit official to Riyadh since he took office on Feb. 15.
