BEIRUT: Presidential hopeful Samir Geagea launched a European and Arab tour that will see him hold talks with French and Saudi officials as well as former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, a political source said Friday.
The source told The Daily Star that Geagea left Lebanon late Thursday headed to an unnamed European country.
The source withheld details for security considerations.
However, the source said Geagea would discuss the presidential election among other issues with Western and Arab officials, including Saudi officials.
Geagea will also hold talks with Hariri in Riyadh, the source added.
