BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces has apprehended 24 wanted suspects in the Bekaa Valley, including the head of a theft ring, police said Friday.
In a statement, the ISF said the arrests were made Thursday as part of a security plan to restore law and order to the region.
It identified the 29-year-old ring leader only by his initials, T.A.
The other suspects were charged with drug dealing, theft, forging legal documents, firing arms and impersonating security personnel.
