BEIRUT: Lebanon’s State Security detained a two-member theft gang Tuesday in the Bekaa Valley region of Rashaya, a statement from the security agency said.
The gang, comprised of a Lebanese citizen and a Syrian national, were caught after a burglary in one of Rashaya’s stores.
They were chased and then detained by State Security members.
It turned out they were involved in previous thefts and burglaries in Rashaya, the statement said.
They pair were referred to the judiciary.
