Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri said Wednesday he stands side-by-side with former Prime Minister Saad Hariri against holding parliamentary elections before a presidential vote.At the same meeting, Berri reportedly called on parliamentary joint committees to review a draft of the salary scale in a session set for Monday.The comments come one day after the Parliament Speaker downplayed Hezbollah's Tuesday attack on an Israeli patrol on the border that wounded two soldiers, saying he is more concerned about routine Israeli violations in Lebanon.
