Residents of the northern Akkar village of Adweh Tuesday condemned the decision of a local soldier to defect from the Lebanese Army and join ISIS, vowing to persuade him to return home.In a video released by ISIS Monday, Khaled announced that he had defected from the Army to join the jihadists, showing his military I.D. card that stated he was from the northern Akkar town of Adweh.The fourth Lebanese soldier to defect from the military since last week, Khaled was the second to reportedly have joined ISIS, the fundamentalist group battling the Army along Lebanon's eastern border.
