Lebanese Army raids Syrians' apartments in Sidon

SIDON, Lebanon: The Lebanese Army Tuesday raided two apartments for Syrians in the coastal city of Sidon, a security source said.

The Army along with a military intelligence unit raided the apartments in a building in the Christian-dominant neighborhood of Qrayyeh in Sidon, checking the Syrians' identification cards and searching their homes.

Security force have launched raids on locations where Syrian workers and refugees reside across the country, looking for Islamist suspects or accomplices following several clashes between the Army and gunmen from Syria.
