Saudi Arabia should not deliver the $4 billion of pledged aid to Lebanon because it would be used in Hezbollah and Iran's projects that target the country's Sunnis and Christians, north Lebanon MP Khaled Daher said Thursday. The MP warns that Army Intelligence is marginalizing the Sunni community in the north -- especially in Tripoli. The north Lebanon MP said that Army Intelligence in the north had strived to portray citizens of Tripoli as terrorists by fabricating cases against them and exerting unwarranted pressure on the locals.Daher also said that suspicions over the head of the Army Intelligence's northern branch were shared by all of the region's MPs and Tripoli's grand mufti, as well as ministers from the northern capital.
