Information made available to Al-Akhbar said security agencies have interrogated detainees suspected of plotting an attack to free a number of inmates in a Jezzine prison over the 2013 clashes in Abra between the Lebanese Army and supporters of Sheikh Ahmad Assir.Security and judicial sources told Ad-Diyar that confessions made by terrorist members arrested during the Arsal battle, in particular Imad Jomaa, revealed that radical Islamist groups, mainly ISIS and Nusra Front, planned to take over 10 Christian and Shiite towns – including Ras Baalbek, Fakha, Jdeideh, Labweh and Nabi Othman – via Arsal.
