Racing against a deadline that ends at midnight Tuesday, rival parliamentary blocs Monday rushed to file their candidacy papers for elections that most probably will not take place on time for security reasons.MP Ammar Houri said his Future bloc has prepared the candidacy papers for the elections for all the bloc's 34 members that would be submitted to the Interior Ministry Tuesday.Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah said his parliamentary bloc has prepared the candidacy papers for all its 13 members that would be filed with the Interior Ministry Tuesday.MP Nabil Nicolas from MP Michel Aoun's Change and Reform bloc said his group has already filed candidacy papers with the Interior Ministry for 35 candidates. He said the bloc currently has 27 members, including MP Sleiman Frangieh's four-member group. Lebanese Forces MP Antoine Zahra said the LF bloc, which currently has eight MPs, has submitted nomination applications for 23 candidates in all Lebanese areas.
