The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has questions about the arms deal inked with France to deliver $3 billion in military aid to the Lebanese Army, according to Marylise Lebranchu, the French minister of Public Administration and Decentralization.The arms deal was discussed over the weekend in New York on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly and the gathering of the International Support Group for Lebanon.Aside from the military aid package, Lebranchu addressed the refugee crisis in Lebanon.More than 1.1 million Syrians have registered as refugees in Lebanon.The municipal leaders Lebranchu met described "the difficulties involved in managing towns and cities where [refugees] are now sometimes the majority". Those towns where refugees outnumber locals deserve particular attention, she said alluding to Arsal, where militants clashed with Lebanese security forces last month. The refugee crisis has become a question of stability for Lebanon, she added.
