The Netherlands will support the Lebanese Army with $3.2 million worth of weapons, Lebanon's Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil announced during a meeting with his Dutch counterpart in The Hague Monday.Bassil also announced that Lebanon and the Netherlands would be collaborating at a legal level. The pledge to bolster Lebanon's Army comes on top of a $3 billion Saudi grant in January for French arms and a further $1 billion over summer, also from the Gulf country.The International Support Group for Lebanon is also finding ways to strengthen the Army, among its other tasks.
