The Saudi-led military campaign launched two weeks ago in Yemen is a "great strategic mistake," an adviser to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Wednesday during a visit to Beirut.Sarmadi arrived in Beirut at dawn Wednesday for talks on the Yemeni crisis and to brief Lebanese officials on the outcome of a recent nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers.He also met with Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil after the meeting with Salam.Answering a question about his country's role in ending the presidential vacuum in Lebanon, Sarmadi said Iran insists on refusing any foreign intervention in Lebanese domestic politics.
