Former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora Monday accused Iran and Hezbollah of blocking the election of a new president and renewed his call on the rival Lebanese factions to cooperate to end the 11-month-old vacuum in the country's top Christian post.Meanwhile, the Cabinet meets Tuesday amid differences among ministers over the 2015 draft budget. Siniora, head of the parliamentary Future bloc, reiterated Future and March 14 accusations that Iran and Hezbollah were preventing the election of a successor to former President Michel Sleiman, whose six-year tenure ended on May 25 . Siniora called for the election of a strong president who can unify all the Lebanese through his leadership.
