Future Movement officials Thursday said the party never struck a deal with the Free Patriotic Movement to appoint new high-ranking security officers.Aoun has been at odds with Berri over the issue of military extensions.Houri's statement comes in light of remarks by Change and Reform lawmaker Hikmat Deeb, who felt that the Future Movement broke an agreement with the FPM regarding the appointments.Hariri allegedly told Aoun that he would approve the appointment of his son-in-law Shamel Roukoz, head of the Army Commando Unit, as Army chief in return for the appointment of head of the Internal Security Forces' Information Branch Imad Othman as ISF chief.
