After several drowning incidents at Sidon's public beach, a drone is being tested to shorten the time it takes to get help to people in trouble.Sidon's Municipality was presented with the drone, called "The Guardian," Thursday, by the "Friends of Zira and Sidon's Beach" organization. Trials were conducted along Sidon's popular beach.Rabih al-Awji, who created the drone, said that the device would be used solely for the beach. Three-year-old Mahdi Salamah went missing after swimming in the area near Sidon's public beach.
