Transport and Public Works Minister Ghazi Zeaiter announced Friday an action plan to "improve" Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport through a series of organizational measures primarily aimed at reforming airport management. The action plan will be launched next week and it comes after five months of collaboration with the Ministry of State for Administrative Development and the Civil Service Board. Zeaiter also said that a National Committee to Manage Civil Aviation was being formed.Zeaiter said garbage around the airport would be removed before the winter.
