The Change and Reform Bloc Tuesday rejected claims that chaos is the only alternative to picking Marada Movement leader Sleiman Frangieh as president, describing them as dangerous and irresponsible.Frangieh has gained support from many of Lebanon's political parties since his reported meeting with former Prime Minister Saad Hariri in Paris a few weeks ago. However the country's main Christian parties – the Free Patriotic Movement, the Lebanese Forces and Kataeb – have signaled their opposition to Frangieh's candidacy, which has not been officially announced.Jreissati said that Frangieh still officially supports Change and Reform Bloc head Michel Aoun as a presidential nominee, adding that the latter was keeping quiet on the matter until Frangieh's nomination is official.
