Lebanese religious and political leaders expressed nostalgia and grief on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, vowing to keep up his legacy for an independent and prosperous Lebanon.Prime Minister Tammam Salam described Hariri's death commemoration as a "sad moment" in Lebanon's history, hoping that justice would be brought to his killers.Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdel-Latif Derian expressed nostalgia for the stability and prosperity that he said had prevailed under Hariri.Derian also praised Hariri for boosting education and shouldering Lebanon's reconstruction which had buttressed state institutions and reinstated Lebanon on the international map.
