Storm "Yohan," which battered the country for days and caused widespread damage, began to subside Friday, and milder rainy weather is forecast for the weekend.Saturday's weather will fluctuate between partly cloudy and cloudy, with sporadic showers accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at times, according to the forecast from the Meteorological Department at Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport. Snow will fall at an altitude of 1,000 meters. Light showers are expected in the mountains, and snow is expected at an altitude of 1,200 meters, particularly at night.Friday's weather was characterized by heavy rains, active winds and thunderstorms.Snow fell at altitudes of 800 meters, keeping many schools in mountainous regions closed.
