The cold winds and intermittent rain which moved across Lebanon Tuesday were the first effects of "Windy," a new storm which is expected to batter the country beginning Wednesday night, just a few short days after storm "Yohan" subsided.The low-pressure system will bring showers, thunderstorms, snow and, of course, wind.The department source doesn't expect precipitation to reach the levels deposited by storm "Yohan".Sporadic showers will be accompanied by thunderstorms at times, and snow is expected to fall at altitudes of 1,300 meters.The day will see heavy rains, thunderstorms, winds up to 80 kilometers per hour and snowfall down at an altitude of 900 meters.Storm "Zina" hit Lebanon in January, bringing snowfall at altitudes as low as 500 meters.
