Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai said Thursday that the church encouraged all dialogue initiatives that aim to search for solutions to the country's pressing political and security problems.There are also talks for a dialogue between rival Christian figures, Michel Aoun and Samir Geagea, who are both vying for the presidential post.The patriarch reiterated his call for politicians to elect a new president and put an end to the seven-month vacuum in the country's top Christian post.
