Iran's ambassador to Lebanon met Thursday with Lebanon's defense minister and top military officials over the expansion of military ties between the two countries, Iran's Fars News Agency said.During a visit to Lebanon in September, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani announced that Iran would donate military equipment to the Lebanese Army, adding that the donation would be "officially" delivered to Lebanon's defense minister during his visit to Iran.Moqbel made a three-day visit to Iran to discuss the pledged Iranian military grant to the Lebanese Army.
