Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri met at his residence in the Saudi city of Jeddah Tuesday night with MP Walid Jumblatt as part of his latest consultations with Lebanese leaders to explore a solution to the crisis over the Cabinet's decision-making system.Hariri met a day earlier with Prime Minister Tammam Salam and former President Michel Sleiman. The meetings with Hariri come after last week's Cabinet session that was marred by a shouting match between Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil over the government's decision-making system. Bassil implicitly accused Salam of violating the Constitution and infringing on the Maronite president's powers. In order to end the presidential vacuum, the Future bloc called on MPs to attend Wednesday's parliamentary session scheduled to elect a president.
