Free Patriotic Movement members launched a convoy movement in Sin al-Fil Wednesday, vowing to continue demonstrations until Cabinet convenes next week.Supporters gathered in the Beirut suburb of Sin al-Fil at 5 p.m. before taking off in a vehicle convoy across the capital, according to the coordinator of the FPM's youth sector, Antoun Souaid. The motorcade demonstration will be followed by another convoy movement Thursday, according to the party coordinator, who announced that the party's mobilizations would continue until a Cabinet session is held next week.Last week, hundreds of FPM supporters rushed to protest outside the Grand Serail after a shouting match erupted between the party's Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and Prime Minister Tammam Salam during the last Cabinet session.
