A Fatah official in the southern Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh was assassinated Saturday by unidentified gunmen, a security source told The Daily Star.Intense gunfire was heard and tensions surged in the camp after the incident, as dozens of Fatah troops deployed in the neighborhood.The 2014 assassination attempt came when Urduni's supporters were battling followers of Bilal Badr, who led Fatah al-Islam in the camp.Fatah al-Islam accused the Fatah Movement of being behind the assassinations, a claim that was denied by Fatah.
