Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil warned Monday that the number of Syrian refugees in Lebanon has been increasing since April, accusing the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees of violating a decision to stop registering Syrians.Lebanon's Cabinet in October voted to stop receiving Syrian refugees.The agency provided that 51,000 Syrian refugees were born in Lebanon and 31,000 remain unregistered.The presence of around 1.5 million Syrian refugees in Lebanon, which already suffers from a fragile socio-economic, political and security situation, has presented the country with enormous challenges.
