Hezbollah is acting alone in Syria's Qalamoun region without consulting or working with the government, Social Affairs Minister Rashid Derbas said Monday.Hezbollah launched an offensive in the Qalamoun region on May 4, capturing dozens of militant bases and driving Syria-based jihadis north toward the outskirts of the northeastern Lebanese border town of Arsal.March 14 officials have cautioned against Hezbollah against carrying out any operations near Arsal, saying that protection of the town is the responsibility of the Lebanese state and Army.
