At least 49 civilians, including six children, were killed Monday in Syrian government airstrikes on a town in Idlib province, an activist group said.Other, anti-regime sources, such as the Civil Defense branch active in Idlib province, said at least 60 people were killed in the strikes, with around 120 others wounded.A barrel bomb strike on the town of Tal Rifaat in Aleppo province killed a man, two women and a child, the Observatory said – anti-regime activists circulated the gruesome photograph purporting to show the lifeless body of a woman trying to protect her child, buried in the rubble.Separately, a U.S.-led coalition airstrike in Aleppo province has killed seven family members, including a couple and their five children, activists and jihadi group ISIS said. In May, the Observatory reported at least 64 civilians – nearly half of them children – had been killed in U.S.-led airstrikes in the village of Birmahle in Aleppo province.
