Lebanese security services received information that a number of Nusra Front military commanders sneaked into Lebanon days ago, during fighting in Syria's Qalamoun. Hezbollah and the Syrian army are in the midst of an offensive against ISIS and Nusra Front positions in the mountainous border region. The Nusra Front purportedly maintains 11 cells in Lebanon at present, each one comprised of three members ready to carry out attacks against specific targets, which reportedly include the Lebanese Army headquarters.Security sources added that Lebanese Army Intelligence had recently dismantled a terrorist cell that had been planning attacks in north Lebanon. The Army arrested Egyptian Ibrahim al-Ahmad al-Abed al-Lahen, better known as Ibrahim Sweid in Minyeh, in north Lebanon, after he took part in battles against the Army in Tripoli last October.
