The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Wednesday lifted immunity from one of its Lebanese employees accused of spying with Israel and handed him over to Lebanese authorities.UNIFIL released a statement saying it has been cooperating with Lebanese authorities throughout the investigation pertaining to Matar's spying activities.Matar has been initially subject to questioning by Lebanese authorities but was not taken into custody due to the immunity he enjoyed as a UNIFIL employee.
