Dressed in a blue t-shirt, black shorts, and white and blue sneakers, 19-year-old Omar Mikati told a court Friday that it was his cousin, defendant Bilal Mikati, who shot Army soldier Ali al-Sayyed in August 2014 .Mikati, also known as "Abu Harira," spoke confidently and openly to the court, headed by Maj. Present before the court were Fayez Osman, Omar al-Janzarly, Abdullah al-Jaghbeer, and Syrian national Omar al-Hage Youssef, all of whom stand accused of belonging to ISIS, carrying out violent terrorist operations, and inciting sectarian bloodshed in the north of Lebanon, aiming to separate the area from the rest of the country and create an "Islamic Emirate".
