Hundreds of Kataeb Party supporters rallied Sunday to mark Lebanon's 72nd Independence Day and renew calls for the election of a president.The Kataeb had rallied on Nov. 12 to demand the election of a new president during a parliamentary session that the party's lawmakers withdrew from because they deemed it as "unconstitutional" and "illegal" amid the presidential vacuum.Lebanon has been without a head of state since the term of former President Michel Sleiman ended in May 2014 . The Kataeb Party supporters are not expected to join that gathering.
