Lebanon's Military Tribunal set Dec. 10 as a final date to start the trial of Michel Samaha, accusing the former minister's defense team of stalling the court's progression under different excuses. The defense alleged that this amounts to fraud and requested more time to review the evidence.Samaha's defense had previously requested that the proceedings be delayed to review the footage. Yet when the defense requested even more time the presiding judge declined. After the interjection Samaha's defense requested that he remain quiet. The defense reasoned that they had not received enough material to mount a proper defense.
