The Union Coordination Committee called Monday for a three separate days of strike in October and November, urging participants of the national dialogue to work on reviving state institutions in order to pave the way for the approval of a long-awaited wage hikes.Also featuring on the agenda is reviving Parliament and Cabinet.Besides Parliament's paralysis, the new salary scale is faced with opposition by some political groups such as the Future Movement who argue that sufficient revenues should be allocated before Parliament approves the bill. A new salary scale, approved by the Cabinet in 2012, has been stuck in Parliament since then.
