Speaker Nabih Berri arrived Thursday in Geneva to attend the conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union after wrapping up a visit to Romania where he expressed optimism that Lebanon will overcome its political and economic crises despite the myriad of challenges it is facing."In Lebanon, we have chosen the path of dialogue and reconciliation which we hope will prevail in the region," Berri added.He discussed bilateral relations and the Syria crisis with Romania's President Klaus Iohannis Wednesday.
