Founder and Secretary-General of the Union of Arab ICT Associations Nizar Zakka is being held in Tehran by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, sources told The Daily Star Friday.According to IJMA3-USA, a Washington based advocate of online freedom in the Middle East, Zakka traveled to Tehran on Sept. 15 and disappeared on Sept. 18 . Zakka arrived in Iran and gave his scheduled speech at the state-sponsored conference.Zakka never made it to his flight.Zakka also served on the board of the Professional Computer Association of Lebanon, where he promoted Lebanese companies across the Middle East and the globe.
