Two Internal Security Forces' officers were referred to the Disciplinary Council and six members will face disciplinary measures, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk said as he announced the result of an investigation into the August 22nd clashes in Downtown Beirut Wednesday.Machnouk denied reports saying that protesters were wounded with live bullets, highlighting that the ISF only shot live ammunition in the air.The minister, citing a Lebanese Red Cross report, said that 60 protesters and 22 officers were wounded during the August 22nd clashes.Machnouk said that 18 civilians were detained during the August 22 clashes, including a Sudanese and Syrian national.Several You Stink protesters stormed into the Environment Ministry Tuesday in Downtown Beirut, demanding the minister's resignation.
