Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri Saturday praised Lebanon's current political stability, but said the sectarian system was impeding the democratic process in the country.In regards to the regional situation, the Lebanese speaker said he hoped the parliamentary union would reunite the Arab states "as we did and continue to do through dialogue in Lebanon".Aal in his turn congratulated Berri for his position as head of the union this year, describing Berri as a political expert and "a column of stability in Lebanon".
