Prime Minister Tammam Salam flew to Istanbul Wednesday to take part in an Islamic summit conference after meeting his Maltese counterpart in Beirut.Five countries, including Lebanon, abstained from voting in favor of labeling Hezbollah a terrorist organization during a preparatory meeting on Monday.An Arab League summit in January which branded Hezbollah a terrorist organization was met with opposition from Lebanon.Hezbollah is officially considered a terrorist organization by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
