Education Minister Elias Bou Saab Friday announced plans to build 60 schools over the next two years that will cater to children with learning disabilities.Speaking at a ceremony marking the "national day for students with learning disabilities" at the Monroe Hotel in Beirut, Bou Saab said he would begin implementing the initiative by trying to secure funds to create 30 schools during the first year. The minister criticized the government for failing to allocate funds to build schools that deal with children with learning disabilities.Bou Saab also said he hoped to see a change in the next official exam cycle with regard to the participation of students with learning disabilities.
