Speaker Nabih Berri Wednesday called on joint parliamentary committees to hold a session next Tuesday to discuss several draft electoral laws.This announcement comes only two days after Berri decided to postpone further legislative sessions until these joint committees complete their discussions.Berri said he has in Parliament 17 electoral draft laws and proposals that have been submitted by a number of lawmakers and a 10-member parliamentary committee tasked with drafting a new electoral law to replace the 1960 voting system.
