In an interview with the General Security magazine Friday, General Security chief Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim warned that the, "permanent resettlement of refugees will lead directly to war in Lebanon". The stark assessment came as the security chief discussed a number of issues in Lebanon, including the fight against militants and terrorism. Ibrahim cautioned against losing the war on terrorism, while saying that the previous battles have been fought and won but the war was not finished. Al-Qaa was just the latest incident to hit Lebanon. It was the worst bombing to hit the capital since the country's civil war, killing 47 people and wounding over 200 others. The attack was later claimed by Daesh (ISIS).
