Speaker Nabih Berri Tuesday discussed the divisive issue of Lebanon's offshore oil and gas reserves with Free Patriotic Movement chief Gebran Bassil.A statement issued by Berri's office said the meeting also tackled the recent national dialogue sessions and a number of vital issues. In separate talks Tuesday, Berri met with Information Minister Ramzi Joreige, who told reporters after the meeting that he tackled the financial crisis of private newspapers that have been at risk of shutting due to a recent financial crisis.The minister said Berri expressed his support for the proposal.
