A former militant commander from the northern city of Tripoli received a hero's welcome home Friday after serving out his sentence at Roumieh Prison.Allouki was jailed for threatening an army soldier with a weapon in June 2013 .Before arriving to Tripoli, Allouki stopped at the nearby village of Qalamoun to perform Friday prayers. Crowds poured onto the streets of Tripoli to welcome Allouki.Allouki and Masri had handed themselves over to security forces two years ago at the beginning of the security plan.
