Nasrallah said he believed the U.S. created ISIS to destroy the "axis of resistance," and Hezbollah in particular, as the group was serving on the front line to disrupt western plans for the region.Turning to local matters, Nasrallah said Hezbollah will be cooperative in the formation of a new government once a president is elected.Reiterating his support for the presidential candidacy of Free Patriotic Movement founder Michel Aoun, Nasrallah said he was "open" to other officials holding top government posts. Hezbollah is a longtime ally of Aoun and has for over 10 years expressed its support for the former army general's presidential aspirations.He thanked Aoun for sticking by Hezbollah during the 2006 war, when most Christian leaders in the country secretly sided with Israel in its bid to crush Hezbollah, as has been revealed by WikiLeaks. Nasrallah warned that any future war with Israel would be its last, as even Israeli officials understand they cannot afford to strike Lebanon again.Nasrallah said that the U.S. is currently fighting the war on behalf of Israel, as it is no longer able to undertake a successful confrontation.
