An elderly woman believed to be a Syrian beggar was killed and 11 other people were wounded Wednesday when a roadside bomb packed with screws and bolts detonated as a passenger bus arrived at a roundabout in eastern Lebanon.Television footage showed the Mitsubishi bus with several screws and bolts stuck in its left side, while others appeared to have tore through the panels.A doctor at the hospital said one woman lost her eye in the attack.Attacks on civilian buses are rare in Lebanon.Lebanese Red Cross chief George Kettaneh told media that one woman was killed and 10 people were wounded in the attack. In June, eight suicide bombers blew themselves up in the border village of Al-Qaa, just north of Arsal, killing five citizens and wounding about 30 others.
