MP Ghazi Aridi said Sunday that conflicts between Christian political parties are delaying the formation of a new Cabinet, the National News Agency said.Amal Movement leader and House Speaker Nabih Berri and Marada leader MP Sleiman Frangieh announced they would not vote for Aoun.Maronite Patriach Beshara Rai was reported to be mediating between Aoun and Frangieh, the two rival Maronite leaders.LF and FPM officials have repeatedly said they would form an electoral coalition, which is expected to shrink the parliamentary representation of other Christian blocs, including Marada.An LF-FPM coalition necessitates a more limited representation of other Christian parties.However, key FPM officials have reassured other parties that the newly born LF-FPM coalition will not exclude other parties.
