Areas battered by winter storms in east and north Lebanon will get a reprieve Sunday evening, state media said.The National News Agency reported that a renewed snow blizzard in the morning hours brought snowfall to altitudes of 1,000 meters above sea level and more in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa region.A storm dubbed "Suzi" had started Tuesday, bringing rainfall to coastal cities and snow to the mountains and inner regions of Lebanon with a drop in temperatures. Snow piled 5 centimeters high in the Bekaa valley plains while on the surrounding mountains it reached a height of 20 centimeters.
